The SEEDFOLKids After School Garden Experience and the Community Garden Initiative, offered by What We Could Be Exchange Inc. (WWcB), are community-centered leadership initiatives designed to instill sustainable living values among young students, parents, and school staff. These programs utilize STEM-focused gardening activities to establish long-lasting “school and community gardens.” Participants learn how to cultivate their own food and create sustainable products, all while fostering community partnerships to drive the shift towards sustainable practices. Participants develop a sense of community and an entrepreneurial mindset by immersing themselves in these activities. This transformative perspective equips them to become capable leaders and agents of change. This new perspective empowers them to bring about innovation in their schools and communities and profoundly influences their personal growth.
